John and Judy are "retired" and living on this property (above) in Central Mexico.  They grew up in Kansas City, KS and Spring Lake Park, MN respectively.  They served as missionaries in Brazil for 10 years.  After returning from Brazil, they lived and worked in Kansas City, KS.  They retired to Central Mexico in 2003.  Judy has always loved, taken, and collected photographs.  Since J and J completed the supervision of the building of their retirement home, she has had time to "do something" with those photos.  A great portion of this site is what that is all about--how she has used various resources and skills to create the biggest part of these collections.  Her main reason for doing this (beyond the fact that she loves to) is an attempt to share these collections with her family and friends, in an effort to "keep in touch" with them.  She hopes you will find even a fraction of the enjoyment and delight in looking at pursuing these collections that she has had in their creation.

 

Judy created this image when she and John had been married 60 years.  It is a good depiction of where they lived those years.  The first year in the United States, 10 years in Brazil, thirty years back in the U.S. and 20 (and still counting) in Mexico.
